Nike Zoom KD 4 IV YOTD Year Of The Dragon 473679-300
In the annals of Chinese Horoscope and written records over the last 2 millenniums, five elementals: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth, govern all things living and non-living. So as the Lunar New Year, better known as Chinese New Year, approaches, billions around the world will usher in the Year of the Water Dragon. Himself a dragon (born in 1988, the Year of Earth Dragon), Kevin Durant, along with the design team at Nike Basketball, wanted a design with strong inclination to the mythical beast. An elaborate wave pattern and the color blue envelope Durants new signature footwear, Nike Zoom KD IV, while details such as rippling tides and the water dragon itself, are etched throughout the upper via laser. As with all those born in the year of dragon, known to be self-assured and passionate, Durant added a hint of light blue and mango colorways in reference to his team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Unlike its predecessor, the Nike Zoom KD IV features revolutionary Hyperfuse construction: three different layers of material fused together to create a nearly seamless one-piece upper. The result is zones of ventilation, durability and stability, right where you need them.

The Adaptive Fit system has synthetic straps at the forefoot and arch, attaching at the midsole and integrating with the laces for total lockdown and support.
-Cushioning
Nonstop sprinting on hard, wooden floors requires excellent cushioning. The Nike Zoom unit in the forefoot provides lightweight, low-profile and responsive cushioning for all four quarters, while a Phylon midsole--which weighs about an ounce less than traditional Phylon--builds on the shoe's comfort.
-Fit
Anyone can wear this shoe, from point guards to power forwards. The 5/8-height collar provides optimal support and flexibility, rendering it versatile and powerful for every position on the court. Cushioned lobes inside the heel collar create a snug fit for better lockdown in the heel.
